Dore Lake Lodge Bear Hunting

A typical day for hunting starts with breakfast at 8:00 am, followed by a morning of fishing for Northern Pike and Walleye. At 2:00 pm, a large dinner will be waiting for you when you come off the lake.

After dinner, your guide will pick you up at your cabin at around 3:00 pm, to begin your evening hunt. At that time of year, you can hunt until about 10:30 pm, so a packed lunch will be sent with your for your action packed day.

In the past, we have had a success rate of a 100% shooting chance with 25% of our hunters having a chance at a color phase bear.

Most of our guests hunt with a bow however, our stands are set up for rifle as well. We also offer double stands for anyone wishing to hunt with a partner, or have someone videotape their hunt.

Our accommodations are two hunters per cabin and in most cases two hunters per guide.

When you get your bear, your trophy will be properly prepared and packed for your trip home. In the meantime, you can enjoy the rest of your trip doing some great fishing that Dore Lake has to offer.

A bear hunt with Dore Lake is never lacking excitement. The hunt combined with the fishing makes this a trip of a lifetime.
