Dore Lake Lodge Deer Hunt

A typical day starts with breakfast being served around 4:30 am, a packed lunch sent with your for your day out on the stand, and then a large dinner around 7:30 pm when you arrive back at the lodge.

All accommodations are two bedroom cabins with two hunters per cabin in most cases, two hunters per guide.

Your guide will pick you up at your cabin and drive you anywhere from a few minutes to 1 hour and then the remainder of your trip will be a short quad ride to begin your exciting day in the blind. We have radio contact with your at all times so that you can contact your guide at any time.

We use enclosed blinds that will be either ground or elevated, depending on which is best suited for that area. All blinds are fully enclosed and heat is provided.

We only hunt the first three weeks of the season, as these weeks are usually the best during the season. We hit the pre-rut and the two weeks during the rut.

During the past seasons, we have averaged a 67% kill rate, with a 100% shooting chance. We do not have a penalty for shooting a buck that scores 130 or less however, we do ask that no one shoot anything less than that. On the average we take two to three bucks every year that will go over 170- B & C.

At the end of your hunt, your trophy will be properly treated for your trip home.
