"I visited Dore Lake Lodge with a friend and my grandson. The 2 of them got black bears, the 1st and 2nd day of hunt. Fishing for large walleye- 6-8 lbs. was fantastic as was the pike fishing. More importantly the accommodations were very comfortable, the food was outstanding, and most of all Ian, Nicolle, and staff were great. I have been to Canada several times and several places down south for bones, permit, etc. , I would rate Dore Lake Lodge with the best of them.
